Rehearsal and Mass Schedule:
- To lead and to encourage the congregation to fulfill the primary purpose of liturgical music – the active participation of the congregation and to not just simply “sing at Mass” but to “sing the Mass”.
- To give glory and praise to our Lord through music.
- To try to reach the hearts and minds of those seeking the Lord through meditation songs.
- To provide an opportunity for members of the church to serve the Lord
Qualifications for Membership:
- Participation is voluntary and all are welcome, regardless of experience
- Ability to read music is not necessary but very helpful
- Should be able to sing on pitch
- Should be able to work well in a group
- Must attend weekly rehearsal (Wed evenings from 7:30p – 9:00p) and be available to sing at the 1p mass on Sundays
Rehearsal and Mass Schedule:
- Rehearsal: Wednesday evenings from 7:30p – 9:00p in the Rectory Music Room
- Choir Mass: Sunday afternoons at 1:00p in the church
- Special masses (days and times vary depending on the occasion) in the church
